This lesson was to catch up on things and improve our research pages. In this lesson I improved my moodboard as some images were pixelated so I had to change them. Also I finished doing the Audience research task and improved the real media text's task in which I had to add more points of representation and correct the grammar mistakes, this concludes to end of research page.
In this task we had to create a moodboard. I found the task easy as by now I do have the basic skills for using Photoshop. I struggled to find my images and my background wallpaper. To do this task I learnt to use the selection tools section and the magic erase. My magazine genre is R&B and I want my main colours to be black and gold, so I decided to put a black and gold background, I struggled to find. I also struggled to find good quality images on google as the ones I found weren't my style or they were too inappropriate. But I did enjoy doing the task. I had to modify it as one of the pics was pixelated here are the two versions one with the pixelated image the other my final product. This task was very easy and entertaining as I had to make a questionnaire and ask my target audience the things that they would like to see in my final magazine (layout, masthead name, cover-lines...) and based on their opinions I will have to create the magazine. I made 20 questions, 10 for the front cover, 5 for contents and another 5 for the double page spread. I admit that I did struggle to make the questions as I didn't want to ask things that afterwards I won't be able to create or I want like it. I decided to use social media to ask my questions; Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and with the help of survey-monkey I created a pie chart and a bar chart to import the results.
